Our Commitment
ScienceOne Labs is committed to making scienceonelabs.com usable by as many people as possible, including researchers who rely on assistive technologies. Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure with meaningful headings, landmarks, and labels.
- Text alternatives for informative images, including product images.
- Color contrast targets that meet WCAG 2.1 AA ratios for text and interface elements.
- Full keyboard operability for navigation, product browsing, and checkout.
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Forms with clear labels, instructions, and error messages.
- Support for browser zoom and text resizing without loss of content or function.
- Accessibility review as part of our process when new pages and features are added.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a finished state. We review the Site on a recurring basis, prioritize fixes for any barriers we find, and evaluate new content and features against WCAG 2.1 AA before release. Some third party content or embedded services may not be fully within our control; where we identify accessibility limitations in third party components, we work with the provider or seek alternatives.
Known Limitations
No accessibility limitations are known at launch. If you encounter one, tell us and we will fix it.
